


This one is an illustration I did for an article a friend of mine wrote about the Havanese, the only native dog breed from Cuba.
Depicting the dog with a white guayabera shirt and a cigar should have been enough to show the doggie's Cuban roots, but I was not sure.
So I used the musical battle cry of the late Celia Cruz, (I'm not a big fan of salsa music, I must say) the Queen of the Salsa music to add some recognizable Latin flavor to the picture.
AzĂșcaaa... (AzĂșcar) means Sugar.
